About
I designed this floral print for my civil wedding. I planned out a whole outfit around it—unfortunately, the pandemic hit. We had a small, intimate wedding with our witnesses only. I transformed the fabric into a silk loungewear ensemble which I now love and wear all the time.
While hosting a dinner party wearing this ensemble, one friend was particularly interested in my self-sewn creation. He is my first customer! This dinner set off the idea of creating unique loungewear combined with beautiful prints on sustainable, exclusive, and high-quality fabrics which can be loved and cherished for a lifetime. My husband pushed me to pursue this project. Sometimes you need a little push in life! The sets are fun to wear and intended for staying in and going out!
My background in textiles started with my apprenticeship as a seamstress, where my love for fabrics, mainly decorative prints, awakened. I studied Textile design at the Lucerne University of Applied Science and Arts. During my time in New York City, working for a renowned design studio, I gained valuable work experience and deepened my understanding of fashion and interior print design. My interests are widespread. I have worked in textile design research in a small luxury fashion brand and designed ski gloves.
I find inspiration in traveling the world, visiting museums and galleries, and observing my surroundings. I design all prints with devotion and lots of love for details.
